I’m from one of the most unique cities in the world…New Orleans, a city that inspires creativity in all forms. I love the history, the sense of place, the people, and “all that jazz.”
I also love nature, so I moved across Lake Pontchartrain to the Town of Abita Springs. It, too, is a place of inspiration with natural beauty, historic charm, and many artists, musicians, and craftspeople. I feel right at home!
Professionally, I have over 30 years of experience communicating information about a variety of topics for multiple platforms. I enjoy working with many types of organizations such as government, non-profit, K-12 schools, universities, and private businesses to help them achieve their communication goals.
Prior to establishing Rheams Media, I worked for the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation as the Education/Outreach Director and Executive Director. I was also an adjunct professor at the University of New Orleans. I have served on the board of directors of many professional, nonprofit, and governmental organizations, and am honored to have received multiple awards for my service.
